In the Community
Fifth Third Bank has a rich legacy of community support. In 1948, it became the first financial institution in the United States to establish a charitable foundation. Today, it continues to invest the time, resources and people to help build a better tomorrow in the communities it serves.
The Fifth Third Foundation Office reviews grant requests from organizations that meet the following preliminary qualifications:
- Maintain IRS 501(c)(3) status
- Operate in Fifth Third's geographic region
- Meet one of four core funding areas of community development, education, health and human services, or arts and culture
To assess the eligibility of your organization, read the guidelines for grantseekers. PDF
