Fifth Third Veterans Program
At Fifth Third we’re proud to support veterans in a variety of ways, including the delivery of military and veteran-focused financial products and services. We also have a year-round, comprehensive program of veteran and military support in the communities we serve, including commemorative events, supportive outreach, job assistance and facilitating educational opportunities. The Bank’s support culminates in a very public way each November, the month of Veterans Day. We host commemorative events throughout our 12-state footprint that honor past and present servicemen and women.
Across our footprint, Fifth Third offers Empower U® financial education classes to local veterans. Topics include: Financial Checkup 101, Budgeting & Savings, Boost Your Credit Score, Preparing for Homeownership, and Protecting Your Identity. All class participants will receive a personalized Empowerment Plan as well as the opportunity to meet for a free, 30-minute consultation with a Fifth Third banker to discuss individualized financial advice.
