Early July 2026
- You'll receive an email with an overview of your commercial banking transition to Fifth Third, including a detailed timeline and steps to complete ahead of the transition.
Mid-July 2026
- You’ll receive a welcome package in the mail with personalized details about the transition of your commercial deposit and loan accounts.
Early August
- You’ll receive additional communications with detailed information about digital banking and Commercial Payments solutions.
- A preview for your new digital banking platform, Fifth Third Direct, beginning mid-August.
- Instructions for accessing Fifth Third Direct, including login setup and transition steps, will be provided.
Friday, September 4, 2026
- Comerica Business Connect online and mobile banking services end.
Friday, September 4 – Monday, September 7, 2026
- Access to online and mobile banking will be unavailable while we complete the move over Labor Day weekend.
- Certain services may be limited depending on service type.
Tuesday, September 8, 2026
- Your Comerica commercial accounts officially become Fifth Third accounts.
- You can access your accounts and services online through Fifth Third Direct.
- Comerica branches begin operating as Fifth Third branches.

Fifth Third is a leader in Commercial Payments, and we're pleased to bring that expertise to your business. As you prepare for the transition, you may notice some differences. At Fifth Third, Treasury Management services are part of our broader Commercial Payments suite. While terminology may change, you'll continue to conduct your business and receive the same relationship-driven support you're used to with access to an expanded set of Commercial Payments capabilities.
