No, your loan process will continue as normal. If any changes are required, you will be contacted directly and supported through the transition.

Your home equity account is now a Fifth Third home equity loan. The terms of your loan agreement will not change as part of this transition. You have a new Fifth Third account number, payment address and customer service contact information. Please review the transition materials you received by mail for important details about payments, bill pay and automatic payments. As of September 8, you can access your account through Fifth Third Online and Mobile Banking.

Mortgages moved to Fifth Third Bank as of Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Your mortgage terms, interest rate, payment amount and payment due date are not changing as part of this transition. You have a new Fifth Third mortgage account number, new payment address and new contact information for mortgage-related questions.

To set up online access for your mortgage, go to 53.com/myaccess and use your mortgage account number and Social Security number for one-time identity verification and account protection. You’ll then create your secure User ID and password and follow the step-by-step guide to access your mortgage and set up your preferences.

Yes. You will receive a billing statement from Fifth Third Bank after the transfer date. Once you have set up your online account, you may elect to go with paperless billing.

Don’t worry. During the 60 days after the transfer, if your former servicer receives a payment on or before its due date, Fifth Third will not consider it late or charge a late fee. Your payment will be credited based on the date it was intended to be received.

Please update your bill pay information with your new lender name, payment address and Fifth Third mortgage account number. This information is provided in your mortgage transition letter. If your bank’s bill pay service asks for Fifth Third’s routing number, use 042000314.

If you had recurring automatic payments set up through Onity, no action is needed. Your recurring automatic payments transferred to Fifth Third and continue automatically.

There may be a short delay in posting your initial payment to Fifth Third, but you will not be negatively affected. Your payment will be credited based on the date it was intended to be received.

If your automatic payments are set up through another bank’s bill pay service, please update your bill pay information with your new lender name, payment address and Fifth Third mortgage account number.

Deposit accounts and other loans are now transitioned to Fifth Third accounts, and you can use the same Fifth Third login credentials you created for your mortgage to access your transitioned accounts in one place.

As of September 8, 2026, you have full access to your accounts through Fifth Third online and mobile banking. Here’s how to get started:

• Use your Comerica debit card and PIN or your account number and Social Security number for one-time identity verification.

• Download the Fifth Third mobile app, and enter your new user ID and password to log in.

Yes. Six months of transaction history, paperless statement preferences, and 24 months of statements have transferred automatically to Fifth Third.

You also should have received a final statement from Comerica reflecting activity through September 4, 2026. You now have access to your accounts through Fifth Third Online and Mobile Banking and can choose how you'd like to receive future statements—by mail or electronically.

Fraudsters and scammers can go on offense when companies are in the process of coming together. Please be vigilant. Fifth Third and Comerica will never call, email or text you asking for personal information, login credentials or computer access. If you receive a request claiming to be from us, don’t respond. Call the number on the back of your debit or credit card or contact your current relationship banking team to report the incident.

The standard FDIC insurance coverage amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank. While Fifth Third and Comerica are now legally one bank, your deposits at each bank remain separately insured for at least six months from February 1, 2026, the date of closing. This transition period gives you time to make any changes needed to keep your FDIC coverage at the level you want. Separate coverage for certificates of deposit (CDs) may extend beyond six months depending on the CD’s maturity. CDs that mature on or before August 1, 2026, will no longer be separately insured after maturity. CDs with a maturity date after August 1, 2026, will continue to be insured separately until maturity. The good news is that the transition will happen automatically. Their accounts, balances and scheduled activity will transfer automatically to Fifth Third, and most customers will not need to take any action.

Their money will stay safe and secure, their direct deposits and scheduled payments will continue on time, and they will be able to use their debit card, checks and ATMs as usual throughout the transition weekend.
