Fifth Third Market Trade (Comerica eFX)
Fifth Third offers foreign exchange (FX) trading through Fifth Third Market Trade, an intuitive, foreign exchange platform with robust functionality for making, confirming and managing FX trades and payments.
Access to Market Trade is provided via Fifth Third Direct, under the Capital Markets tab.
Comerica eFX users will be automatically transitioned to the Fifth Third Market Trade platform for foreign exchange services. Our team is offering early onboarding to the Fifth Third platform for interested clients, so you may have already gained access to the platform. If you have not already been contacted by your FX relationship team about migrating early, you will be transitioned to Fifth Third Market Trade on September 8, when other accounts and services move to Fifth Third.
Fifth Third Market Trade (Comerica eFX)
Transition timing
- Your FX services will automatically transfer to Fifth Third with your other services on September 8 (if your FX service was not converted early).
Users and permissions
- Authorized users and permissions will be transferred to Fifth Third.
- Fifth Third Market Trade is accessed via Fifth Third Direct. You will follow the same login procedures you have already received for Fifth Third Direct, where you will then be able to launch Fifth Third Market Trade under the Capital Markets tab.
Settlement instructions
- Settlement instructions for incoming FX payments will need to be updated following the transition. If you receive foreign currency payments from vendors today, please be sure to have them update their instructions.
Reporting
- Trade details and transaction history are available for 30 days on the platform.
Limits
- There are no changes to limits with this transition.
New features/benefits
- Market Trade offers some new features and benefits to customers transitioning from Comerica including:
- Window forwards
- Batch trading
- Multibank platform connectivity
- Expanded currency list
