How to Request Assistance

Step 1: Log in to your mortgage account.

Log in to Fifth Third online banking or the mobile app and select your mortgage account. From the payment screen, choose Request Assistance.

Step 2: Tell us a bit about your situation.

We’ll walk you through a few simple questions so we can better understand your needs and explore the right options for you.

Step 3: Review the options available to you.

Based on your responses:

  • You may receive an immediate decision for a short-term repayment plan.
or
  • You may be routed to additional questions as part of a Request for Mortgage Assistance (RMA) for further review by a specialist.

Step 4: Learn what comes next.

If additional review is required, we’ll take a closer look at your request and reach out to you with next steps once the review is complete.
