Fifth Third Insurance

The Fifth Third Insurance Agency is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fifth Third Bank. The initial company was established in 1989 under the name Insurance Ohio Company Life Agency, Inc. The name was changed to Fifth Third Insurance Agency in 1998. On December 7, 1998, the agency merged with Air City Insurance Agency and CFX Insurance Strategies Agency, Inc., and retained the Fifth Third Insurance Agency name. It has grown substantially through the years, reporting revenues in excess of $16 million for life, disability income, and long-term care insurance products in 2010.
