Outside of the framework of the rotation, the CLP focuses on developing its participants by providing them with the resources and opportunities that will help to make them successful in their careers. Each participant is required to complete a core curriculum over the 24-month program that is designed to teach and expose the leadership participant to management and leadership best practices. CLPs have the opportunity to network with senior leaders throughout the Bank and are assigned a peer mentor (a CLP in their second year) and a senior mentor (a senior leader in the area of Consumer Bank) upon entering the program who will help to guide them through their career at the Bank. CLPs have a high level of visibility and are responsible for presenting to senior management at the end of each rotation.
